Vintage Vase Club - 2nd Tuesday of the month at 2pm

Vintage Vase Club celebrates flowers, floral design and vintage vases and vessels. It is a welcoming space built on supporting and sharing, while members learn how to design beautiful floral displays in their favourite vases.

Vintage Vase Club is a monthly face to face workshop where people slowly learn skills while designing in their favourite vases and vessels.

Workshop groups are capped at 6 people. You are encouraged to bring up to 3 of your own vases/vessels, the most suitable vase/s will be chosen to work with.

The workshop costs $60, and incudes:

  • $30 worth of cut florals (to design with and take home),

  • Use of floral mechanics such as flower frogs and chicken wire (with the option to purchase),

  • Use of floral tools (such as cutters, rose strippers, etc),

  • Use of the ever growing library of Handpicked’s vintage vase collection,

  • A lesson from Ali, a qualified florist with over 20 years experience in the floral industry.

Sessions are held at the Handpicked floral studio at The Mill Castlemaine. Each session runs for approx. 1.5 hours.

Space is currently available in the session that is held every second Tuesday at 2pm. The next session will be on Tuesday the 10th of November. Book your spot below.

Handpicked is in workspace 78, which is at the back of The Mill Castlemaine. Directions:

Drive in the entrance into the Mill Castlemaine that’s closest to the creek. Go past Das Kaffeehaus, once around the building the road turns to the left to go through the carpark.
