The flowers in Lil and Em’s wedding bouquets were grown on Leanganook (Mount Alexander), within 5 kms of their wedding at Harcourt Valley Winery. As they celebrated their union, a rainbow appeared.

The beautiful, rustic and rural venue of Muckleford Community Hall hosted Leine and Lloyd’s wedding. They were surrounded by friends and family as they celebrated their commitment to each other in late spring 2022.

The changing of the seasons, the beautiful contemporary Australian environment of Mount Macedon Winery, and the couple’s playful energy were the inspirations for the florals for this very special day.

On their beautiful rural property Pete and Billy celebrated their love, getting married in the company of friends and family. To compliment the natural environment, the florals focused on seasonal native blooms, with lush textured foliages and soft petalled flowers.

Claire and Isaac moved their wedding ceremony from the recently flooded Castlemaine Botanical Gardens to Boomtown, and the space looked incredible! Their florals featured very seasonal flowers of dogwood, burgundy peonies, flannel flower, ranunculus and Solomon seal, along with roses, Queen Anne’s lace and olive and eucalyptus foliages.

The Castlemaine Botanical Gardens held the wedding ceremony for Anna and Zeke, who requested a contrasting colour palette of orange, red and pale blues. I used early season local dahlia, glasshouse and field grown delphinium and orange Grandiflora roses to create Anna’s bouquet and table decorations for the reception, in the garden of Castlemaine’s Railway Hotel.

What’s the next step after submitting a wedding enquiry?

After I receive your enquiry, I contact you to arrange a time to talk on the phone or in person. During this consultation I will ask questions so that I understand your wedding flower needs and wants, any aesthetic or theme ideas that you have, and the seasonal flowers that we will have to bring your theme to life. You don’t have to have much of an idea about what you are after, by talking it through we can figure that out together.

During the consultation we will also talk through the amount and type of floral decorations that you would like to have at your wedding. If you’re trying to get a lot of florals on a tight budget I’ll suggest ways to get the most impact possible and where you might need to make compromises, and if you have a big budget and want to cover your wedding in flowers, we will talk through some of the amazing ways that we can do that.

Wanting to get some prices before taking the next step?

I get it, it’s hard to plan a budget when you don’t know what things costs. Or maybe you feel the need to get multiple quotes so that you get an idea of what flowers costs. Here are some average prices to help you avoid some of the uncertainty. Please note that these prices are based on my own unique Handpicked style, using locally grown seasonal flowers where I rely on nature to dictate the perfect ingredients at the time of your wedding:

Medium sized bridal bouquet - $220 - $300

Bridesmaid’s bouquet - $150 - $200

Natural stemmed buttonhole - $20 - $25

Floral installation for arbour - $300 - $400

Statement piece/floral installation designed with an upright bespoke metal frame - $350 - $700 + frame hire/set up

2 metre long hanging installation of mixed eucalyptus leaves - $450 + frame hire/set up/hanging time with extra labour

Foliage table runners - $20 per place setting

Bud vases - $15 - $20 per vase

Small round table arrangement - $50 - $70

Medium to large vase arrangement (e.g. for bar) - $250 - $300

Cake flowers - $80 - $120

Delivery and set up - as per ATO guidance of 85c per KM + time

Collection is available from my studio at The Mill Castlemaine for those wanting to save on delivery, set up, and bump out/pack down costs (not available for installation and some hire pieces).

As stated above, these are average prices based on designing with seasonal flowers. As the weather dictates availability and access to seasonal florals, I am unable to guarantee the use of any specific flowers within the prices given above.

Prices may be cheaper for displays that are smaller in size. Prices will be higher for specific flower requests, when the colour palette is all white, when I need to use hothouse grown flowers, for designs that are floral heavy with less foliage, and for designs that are larger in size and scale.

NB: with the cost of running a business constantly changing (think of the affect of petrol prices alone!), these prices are regularly reviewed to ensure that I am able to keep offering customers the best quality most beautiful florals possible.
